Un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s en plena primavera se celebra en Madrid uno de esos acontecimientos que no te puedes perder, me refiero a la Feria del Libro de Madrid una cita que a pesar de la crisis y el empe\u00f1o de muchas editoriales en la promoci\u00f3n del libro digital, cada a\u00f1o crece en n\u00famero de casetas y n\u00famero de visitantes.\u00a0 Tal es as\u00ed que en un principio pensaba acercarme el domingo por la ma\u00f1ana que es cuando m\u00e1s ambiente suele haber y m\u00e1s autores est\u00e1n firmando sus libros pero con el buen tiempo este a\u00f1o apenas se pod\u00eda caminar y gracias a una buena amiga que me avis\u00f3, decid\u00ed posponer mi visita para el lunes por la tarde, todo un acierto ya que hab\u00eda gente pero la suficiente para ambientar esa maravillosa Feria.<\/p>\n

En este ocasi\u00f3n acud\u00ed con mi Leica M8 y as\u00ed ir ligero. Si soy sincero, tambi\u00e9n ten\u00eda una espinita clavada con el sistema telem\u00e9trico que tanto me cuesta utilizar.<\/p>\n

Mi cabeza estaba dividida entre conseguir alguna foto interesante y la enorme oferta de libros distribuidos en las 352 casetas con las que cuenta la Feria n\u00famero 72. Toda una evoluci\u00f3n desde la primera Feria que se present\u00f3 all\u00e1 por el a\u00f1o 1933 en el famoso Paseo de Recoletos.<\/p>\n

Comenc\u00e9 mi andadura con un objetivo que es un aut\u00e9ntico todo terreno, me refiero al Leica Summicron 35mm. F:2.0 modelo ASPH, una \u00f3ptica famosa por su versatilidad y de una calidad muy superior a otras \u00f3pticas de parecida focal y luminosidad. Este es un objetivo que consigue calidad extrema en todas las aperturas, incluidas las esquinas. Un objetivo que por el efecto multiplicador que tiene el tama\u00f1o del sensor de la M8, un 1,33x, lo convierte en un 46mm. , una focal muy parecida a lo que ven nuestros ojos.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Es cierto que a veces se en esta c\u00e1mara se queda corto como angular y corto como tele pero si solo tuviese que escoger un objetivo para viajar ser\u00eda ese. Adem\u00e1s de la calidad y bouquet que he comentado anteriormente cuando trabajas con diafragmas muy abiertos, tiene tambi\u00e9n la propiedad de poder trabajar con el sistema hiperfocal. Tan solo hay que poner un diafragma f:8 y el enfoque a 8 metros, con eso conseguiremos enfocar desde 4 metros a infinito.<\/p>\n

Como ya he comentado antes, en este tipo de im\u00e1genes me encantan los desenfoques premeditados y con el Summicron 35 puesto, de repente vi a un joven muy interesado en los libros y muy interesante para fotografiar ya que su pelo rasta y sus tatuajes me llamaron la atenci\u00f3n. Me acerqu\u00e9 lo suficiente y de manera prudente le hice esta foto en la que aparece tambi\u00e9n un se\u00f1or con una mirada c\u00f3mplice hacia mi c\u00e1mara y que gracias al desenfoque premeditado se le ve m\u00e1s difuminado.<\/p>\n

Un poco m\u00e1s adelante, veo una religiosa ensimismada atendiendo a un cliente, facilitando datos sobre un libro en concreto. La religiosa en cuesti\u00f3n aparece rodeada de libros relacionados con su h\u00e1bito.<\/p>\n

Sigo con mi c\u00e1mara en la mano y contento pues ya he conseguido alguna foto interesante, pero veo pocos escritores realizando las famosas firmas de libros, hasta que por fin encuentro una escritora que adem\u00e1s de simp\u00e1tica es guapa y posa encantada para mi c\u00e1mara. Me refiero Irene Comendador, autora de varios libros que est\u00e1 presentando su \u00faltima obra: \u201cS\u00e9 que est\u00e1s ah\u00ed\u201d, un libro que no he tenido la suerte de leer pero que su portada y su contenido me resultan interesantes y es que a pi\u00e9 del t\u00edtulo reza que es una antolog\u00eda de relatos er\u00f3ticos, \u201cah\u00ed es na\u201d. Agotado de ver tanta caseta, necesito un poco de aire y se me ocurre dar un paseo hasta la Cuesta Moyano famosa por sus casetas de libros. En mi mente est\u00e1n algunas im\u00e1genes tomadas hace a\u00f1os y quiz\u00e1s ahora con la Feria del Libro consiga alguna foto \u00a0interesante aunque a\u00fan es pronto y la dura luz que todav\u00eda hay me har\u00e1 tener que esperar.<\/p>\n

De camino veo un joven descamisado y escribiendo a pleno sol. Qui\u00e9n sabe, lo mismo est\u00e1 escribiendo a su pareja o esta realizando una obra maestra que luego podr\u00e1 vender en una de las casetas de la Feria. Como est\u00e1 alejado, cambio de objetivo y coloco el Tele Elmarit 90mm. Por supuesto que si no hubiese llevado ese objetivo, con tan solo acercarme hubiese sido suficiente pero es cierto que el ensimismado joven escritor quiz\u00e1s se hubiese percatado y si es de los que les molesta las c\u00e1maras, mejor, \u2026 el 90mm.<\/p>\n

Por fin llegu\u00e9 a la Cuesta Moyano en la que veo unos fuertes contraluces por el fuerte sol de media tarde pero eso se pod\u00eda solucionar. Lo que no ten\u00eda arreglo es que al contrario de mis pensamientos, muchas de las casetas estaban cerradas quiz\u00e1s porque la Feria del Libro es realmente una competencia en esos d\u00edas que se celebra. A\u00fan as\u00ed consegu\u00ed alguna imagen interesante como la que muestro del t\u00edpico librero ya entrado en a\u00f1os, sentado en un taburete y con su mirada dirigida a los j\u00f3venes, quiz\u00e1s esperando a que se decidan a comprar algo.<\/p>\n

Debido al poco ambiente y que encima hay alg\u00fan coche en medio descargando posiblemente libros, decido aprovechar el tiempo y volver al ambiente de la Feria.<\/p>\n

De nuevo en la Feria, de repente veo un precioso perro de patas cortas y con su lengua fuera por el esfuerzo de caminar, perseguido por unos patinadores, toda una interesante escena en mitad del sarao. \u00a0Es la imagen perfecta para utilizar el sistema\u00a0hiperfocal.\u00a0<\/a>Adem\u00e1s llevo puesto un 21mm., una \u00f3ptica perfecta para ese sistema pues como es sabido a m\u00e1s angular m\u00e1s zona enfocada o f\u00e1cil de enfocar. R\u00e1pidamente pongo el diafragma a f:8 y el enfoque a unos 4 metros con lo que de memoria se que va enfocar desde poco m\u00e1s de 2 metros a infinito. Esa foto no habr\u00eda sido posible si hubiese tenido que enfocar por ejemplo al perro\u00a0con el lento sistema telem\u00e9trico.<\/p>\n

Finalizado mi paseo, estoy deseoso de revelar (descargar) mis fotos en el ordenador para ver si ha salido todo como ten\u00eda previsto.\u00a0 Si bien hice pocas im\u00e1genes, he de reconocer que estoy satisfecho con el resultado y pienso que ha merecido la pena. Quiz\u00e1s est\u00e1s im\u00e1genes dentro de poco tiempo ser\u00e1n imposible y es que tarde o temprano los libros ser\u00e1n digitales y no me imagino a un autor firmando esos libros.\u00a0 Pero el mercado manda y quiz\u00e1s la mala manera de entender el negocio por parte de muchas distribuidoras que est\u00e1n consiguiendo que\u00a0 revistas y quioscos de prensa cierren por culpa de sus abusos, ver\u00e1n como la era digital acaba con ellos. Conste que no me refiero a las editoriales que tambi\u00e9n sufren con las imposiciones y barreras de la distribuci\u00f3n y es por eso que quiz\u00e1s tambi\u00e9n est\u00e9n migrando a lo digital. Ese d\u00eda a\u00f1oraremos el olor de los libros y quiz\u00e1s estas fotos que por cierto he revelado en blanco y negro con alg\u00fan viraje en alguna de ellas de manera pensada como si fuese ya el pasado a\u00fan siendo presente.<\/p>\n

Para terminar\u00a0 si me permites te dar\u00e9 un consejo, si alguna vez pasas por Madrid en estas fechas no te pierdas esta Feria, si ya se que los libros se pueden comprar en muchos sitios, incluso en la red pero tocarlos incluso poder cruzar unas palabras con su autor,\u2026 no tiene precio.<\/p>\n

A year in the middle of spring is celebrated in Madrid one of those events that you can not miss, I mean the Madrid Book Fair a quote that despite the crisis and the efforts of many publishers in the digital book promotion, each year grows in number of booths and number of visitors. So much so that at first thought to approach Sunday morning when there is usually more atmosphere and more authors are signing their books, but with good weather this year could barely walk and thanks to a good friend who told me, I decided postpone my visit for Monday afternoon a success because there were people but enough for the mood that wonderful fair.<\/span><\/p>\n

On this occasion I went with my Leica M8 and so travel light. If I’m honest, also had a thorn stuck with the telemetric system my hard use.<\/span><\/p>\n

My head was split between getting some interesting photo and huge supply of books distributed in 352 booths that comprise the Fair number 72. A whole evluci\u00f3n from the first Fair was presented back in 1933 on the famous Paseo de Recoletos.<\/span><\/p>\n

I started with a real purpose road, I mean the Leica Summicron 35mm. F: 2.0. ASPH model, an optical renowned for their versatility and a much higher quality than other similar focal optical luminosity. This is a goal that gets extreme quality in every opening, including corners. A goal that by the multiplier effect size sensor M8 x 1.33, makes it a 46mm. A focal much like what we see with our eyes.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is true that sometimes this camera falls short as angle and short tele but if one had to choose a target to travel would be that. Besides the quality and bouquet that I mentioned earlier when working with wide open apertures, also has the property of being able to work with the system hyperfocal. So just put a diaphragm f: 8 and the approach to 8 feet, with that get focus from 4 meters to infinity.<\/span><\/p>\n

As I said before, in this kind of images I love you premeditated blurs with Summicron 35 because, suddenly saw a young man interested in books and interesting to photograph as his rasta hair and tattoos drew me attention. I got close enough and sensibly I made this photo in which he appears also a man with a knowing look towards my camera and more blurred.<\/span><\/p>\n

A little later, I see a nun absorbed in his client, providing data on a chosen book. The nun in question appears surrounded by books related to his habit.<\/span><\/p>\n

I continue with my camera in hand and happy because I’ve got some interesting photo, but I see few famous writers doing the book signings, until finally find a writer who is pretty well sympathetic and delighted poses for my camera. I mean Irene Commander, author of several books who is presenting his latest work: \u00abI know it’s there,\u00bb a book I have not been lucky enough to read but its cover and content I find interesting is that on foot of title says that it is an anthology of erotic stories, \u00abthere is na\u00bb. Out to see such booth, I need some air and I happen to take a stroll to the Cuesta Moyano booths famous for its books. In my mind are some pictures taken years ago and perhaps now with the Book Fair to get some interesting image though still harsh light ponto and there still make me have to wait. On the way I see a shirtless young and writing in full sun. Who knows, as your partner is writing or is performing a work which can then be sold in one of the booths at the fair. As is remote, lens shift and put the Tele Elmarit 90mm. Of course if I had not taken this goal, with only approach would have been enough but it is true that the brooding young writer perhaps have noticed and if that bothers the cameras, the better, … the 90mm.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally came to the Cuesta Moyano in which I see a strong backlight by the strong afternoon sun but that could be solved. You had no arrangement is that contrary to my thoughts, many of the booths were closed perhaps because the book fair is really a competition in those days it lasts. Still got some interesting image as that of the typical show in years bookcase and sitting on a stool and his gaze directed at young people, perhaps waiting for him to decide to buy something.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because little atmosphere and there is a car up amid possibly downloaded books, I decided to use the time and return to the Fair.<\/span><\/p>\n

Already at the Fair, suddenly I see a beautiful short-legged dog with his tongue out by the effort of walking, chased by skaters in the middle of the fair. It is the perfect image to use hyperfocal system. Besides that I put a 21mm., An optical system perfect for that because as you know more angular more focused area or easy to focus. Quickly put the diaphragm f: 8 and about 4 feet approach with what memory it will focus from just over 2 meters to infinity. That picture would have been impossible if I had to focus using telemetry system for example the dog.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finished my walk, I’m eager to download my photos on your computer to see if everything went as planned. While I made a few images, I must admit that I am satisfied with the result and I think it was worth it. Perhaps these images will be available shortly be impossible and that sooner or later the books will be digital and I can not imagine an author signing these books. But the market demand and perhaps abuse of many distributors already getting magazines and newsagents closed because of its abuses, as the digital age will kill them. Mind you I do not mean to publishers who are also suffering with the constraints and barriers to the distribution and perhaps that is why they are also migrating to digital. That day will miss the smell of books and maybe these pictures which incidentally have revealed in black and white with a shift in some of them so designed as if it were already the past still being present.<\/span><\/p>\n
