En la pasada entrada veíamos como iluminar un coche estático con un solo flash aplicando algo de magia que ofrecen algunas cámaras de fotos. Pues bien ayer cuando salía de la peluquería con Lupita y Laia, salían las dos tan guapas que pensé hacerlas unas fotos en cuanto llegase a casa, improvisando un pequeño estudio en el salón.

Realmente no es complicado hacer fotos a una mascota siempre y cuando controlemos un poco sus movimientos. Aún así es mucho más fácil trabajar con una focal autofocus pues no es tan sencillo controlar la expresión, el encuadre y encima el enfoque, al menos para mí. Por supuesto que huyo de hiperfocales etc. Si bien suelo trabajar con diafragmas “generosos”.

Bien hasta aquí el tema esta claro pero, …, ¿qué ocurre cuando Lupita se junta con su prima Laia? , pues que resulta casi imposible que las dos se estén quietas posando y mirando a la cámara.

Fue entonces cuando después de casi agotar mi paciencia y los premios, se me ocurrió aplicar un poco de magia parecida a la de la entrada anterior, pero tranquilo que me explicaré mejor.

Coloqué un spot a mi flash Nikon y cerré las persianas para conseguir una iluminación controlada tipo estudio. Con el objetivo 24-70mm f:2.8 de Nikkor, situé a Lupita en el sofá con una funda oscura para disimular fondos.

Antes de disparar,  puse la cámara en modo manual con una velocidad alta y así anular más si cabe la poca luz que quedaba y un diafragma como dije anteriormente generoso. Y como en la foto que hice del coche con un solo flash, utilicé el sistema de multiexposición, en esta ocasión para dos imágenes en el mismo fotograma.

Con todo preparado me centré en Lupita, su mirada, el enfoque y un encuadre donde quedaba situada en la parte izquierda del visor. Dispare la primera imagen, a continuación bajé a Lupita del sofá y coloqué a Laia. Una vez enfocada y con el Laia situada en el lado derecho del visor, realicé el segundo disparó.

Al utilizar un sport, solo iluminaba el “personaje” a fotografiar y por supuesto sus expresiones eran como yo quería. Algo que juntas me resultó imposible.

Con esto quiero demostrar que también se puede hacer multiexposición a temas en movimiento y es que ambas no paran de moverse delante de la cámara esperando su famoso premio. Se que alguno puede pensar que podría dedicar más tiempo a educarlas pero lo cierto que son muy felices así, sin tanta disciplina.

Las fotos que he puesto en este entrada las hice muy deprisa y se pueden mejorar muchísimo pero en verdad que el sistema funciona, …, cuando funciona pues también en la primera foto de prueba quedo un poco rara al mezclarse las dos modelos.

Creo que también sería interesante hacerla prueba de fotografiarlas por separado como en la multiexposición pero con un fondo croma y mucha post-producción o lo que es lo mismo tiempo de ordenador. Habrá que hacer la prueba no muy tarde para así valorar resultados y de paso hablar de ese sistema muy utilizado especialmente para ahorrar costes.

A little more magic …

In the last entry saw as light a static car with a single flash using some magic to offer some cameras. Well yesterday when leaving a hair salon with Lupita and Laia, leaving both so beautiful that I make some photos as I got home, improvising a small studio in the living room.

It really is not difficult to take pictures of a pet as long as we control some movements. Yet it is much easier to work with a focal autofocus is not as simple as controlling the expression, framing and above the focus, at least for me. Of course hyperfocal fled etc. While I usually work with diaphragms «generous».

Good to here the issue is clear but … what happens when Lupita meets her cousin Laia? Because it is almost impossible that the two are being quiet posing and looking at camera.

Placed a flash spot my Nikon and closed the blinds to get a studio controlled lighting. Aiming 24-70mm f: 2.8 Nikkor, I placed Lupita on the couch with a dark cover to conceal funds.

Before shooting, I put the camera in manual mode with a high speed and so annul more so little light left and a diaphragm as I said generous. And as in the picture I took of the car with a single flash, multiple exposure system used, this time for two images in the same frame.

With everything ready I focused on Lupita, her gaze, focus and framing where it was located on the left side of the viewfinder. Shoot the first image, then went down to the couch and placed Lupita Laia. Once focused, with Laia located on the right side of the viewfinder, I realized the second shot.

When using a sport, only illuminated the «character» to photograph and of course their expressions as I wanted. Something that I found it impossible together.

By this I prove that you can also do multiple exposure to moving subjects and both not stop moving in front of the camera hoping his famous prize. I know some may think that I could devote more time to educate them but the fact that they are very happy as well, without much discipline.

The pictures I have put into this entry I made very quickly and can improve a lot but in truth that the system works … when it works as well on the first test shot’m a little weird to mix the two models.

I think it would also be interesting to make photographing test separately and multiple exposure but with a chroma background and a lot of post or what is the same computer time. We will have to test so not late step evaluate results and talk about this system widely used especially to save costs.
